Introduction and Itinerary

On Friday May 3, Ana and I will start an adventure that will enact a fictitious European trip Ana wrote about in the seventh grade. We welcome you to follow our travels with us in this blog. Our itinerary follows.

May 5, 2019	A Coruña, Spain	Spend four days in north-western Spain visiting Ana's prima y tia
May 8, 2019	Porto, Portugal	In preparation for an early flight the next day, we return to Porto and explore northern Portugal
May 9, 2019	Barcelona, Spain	Arrive in Barcelona, Spain to spend three days seeing everything this lovely city has to offer.
May 12, 2019	Civitavecchia, Italy	Board a Norwegian Cruise Lines ship for a 3-day cruise to Rome, Italy
May 14, 2019	Naples, Italy	Shore excursion to see the Pompeii Archaeological Site followed by the Mt. Vesuvius National Park, which includes a hike up to the rim of active volcano Mt. Vesuvius
May 15, 2019	Montefalco, Italy	Rent a car for a day trip into the Italian countryside, where we will tour the Montioni, Oil Mill & Winery
May 15, 2019	Rome, Italy	Short train ride into the city of Rome, where we will spend two days, including an early-morning trip to the famous Trevi Fountain.
May 17, 2019	Venice, Italy	Board a train through the Italian countryside to the beautiful city of Venice Italy, where we will spend two days in a bed and breakfast on the island of Guidecca, with walking views like this.
May 19, 2019	Nice, France	Board a flight to Nice, France, where we will spend 2 days visiting this gorgeous northern Mediterranean city.
May 21, 2019	Malaga, Spain	Board a flight to the southern Spanish city of Malaga, otherwise known as the Costa del Sol
May 23, 2019	JFK, New York	Board a flight back to New York City
